Carmino “Charlie” D. Nasuti, 92, of Walpole formerly of Hyde Park and Falmouth died April 14 in the Kindred Goddard Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton. He was the husband of the late Wanda (Gautowski) Nasuti. Born in Worcester, December 26, 1920, the son of the late Nicholas and Concetta (Ludiano) Nasuti, Mr. Nasuti was raised in Hyde Park and had lived in Hyde Park and Falmouth for most of his life prior to moving to Walpole ten years ago. Mr. Nasuti had worked for over thirty years as shop room manager for the Boston Edison. He had also been the shop steward for the Union. Mr. Nasuti had served in the Navy during World War II, attaining the rank of Gunners Mate Second Class. He was awarded the bronze star. He had been the past commander of the William F. Doyle VFW Post in in Hyde Park; he had also been a member of the Hyde Park Lions Club, of which he was president in 1973. Mr. Nasuti had been a member of and past president of the AARP in Falmouth and past president of the Falmouth commodore’s baseball team. He was a member of the BOSOX Club and had written a sports column for the Hyde Park Tribune. Mr. Nasuti loved baseball and to play golf. He is survived by his children, John Nasuti and his wife Elaine of Sharon, Mary Antonetti and her husband George of Walpole and Nancy Lucido and her husband Vincent of New Port Lucie, Florida. He is also survived by his sister Mary Parlon of Falmouth. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Christopher Antonetti, Jennifer Halloran, Dawn Hierholcer, Danielle Nasuti, Nicole Byrne, Peter Lucido, and Diana Midgley. He is also survived b his great-grandchildren, Lauren, Ethan, Matthew, Logan, Luke, Kendall, Lindsey and Ryan. His funeral will be held on Thursday April 18 from the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main Street Walpole at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Timothy’s Church at 10:00. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8. Amy J. Chase (Flanagan) age 42 of Canton passed away at home surrounded by her loving family April 27th. Born in Stoughton, she was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School class of 1989 where she was a member of the Cheerleading Team. She went on to graduate from Bridgewater State College and received her MBA in Speech Pathology from Northeastern University. She worked for Criterion Childhood Early Intervention in Stoneham and Milford as a Speech Pathologist. She loved Cape Cod and most especially spending time with her family at their house in Falmouth. She loved children and her son Noah was the center of her world. Beloved wife of Brian K. Devoted mother of Noah F. Cherished daughter of Dawn and Richard Flanagan of Canton. Sister of Julie Flanagan-Clarke and her husband John of Quincy. Daughter in law of Robert & Mary Chase of Walpole. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Adina (Paci) Marrinucci 84, of Walpole died May 21 in Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of Gino P. Marrinucci. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, October 22, 1928, the daughter of the late John and Anita (Carboni) Paci, Mrs. Marrinucci was raised in Reading and had settled in Walpole in 1965 after living in many areas of the world as her husband served in the Navy. She had been a cashier at Lechmere Sales for 30 years before retiring. Mrs. Marrinucci had been a member of the Italian American Ladies Club and the Sons of Italy. She loved to bowl and was a member of a bowling league. She also enjoyed playing bocce, knitting, making jewelry, cooking and doing crafts. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Robert Marrinucci of Coral Springs, Florida, Gina Marrinucci of Houston, Texas, John Marrinucci of Dallas, Texas, Dominic Marrinucci of the Dominican Republic, Nancy Marrinucci of Walpole and Julie Marrinucci of Providence, Rhode Island. She is also survived by her sister Julia Gaspari of Reading, Pennsylvania and was the sister of the late Clara Ciabattoni. Mrs. Marrinucci is also survived by her grandchildren, Dena Copelin, Andrew, Jena and Bianca Marrinucci. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 25 in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 5-7 in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street Walpole. . Burial will be in in Arlington National Cemetery Washington, D. C. Marilyn A. (Shea) DeMatteo, 75, of East Walpole, died, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Anthony P. DeMatteo who died in 1965. Born in Boston on July 16, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Timothy F. and Eileen M. (Hogan) Shea. Mrs. DeMatteo grew up in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School. She was a resident of East Walpole for the past 47 years. Before her retirement, she worked at the former Polaroid Corporation for 22 years. Mrs. DeMatteo was devoted to her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Maryanne Ball and her husband Richard J. of Walpole and Lisa M. MacDonald and her husband W. John of Stoughton and five grandchildren, Steven D. Schauerte of Sharon, Franco A. and Gabriella Francioso, both of Walpole, and Mathew P. and Olivia E. MacDonald, both of Stoughton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 28 at St. Mary’s Church in East Walpole at 9 a.m. Burial will take place privately at New Calvary Cemetery in Roslindale. Rosemarie Abel treasured daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend passed away unexpectedly with family at her side at CMMC hospital in Lewiston, Maine. Rosemarie Ellen Cady was born April 28th 1940 and raised in the Boston area. She spent many years traveling as a navy wife with her family to places including Connecticut, Nebraska and Hawaii before settling in her beloved state of Maine where she resided since 1986. Before retiring she worked for Raymond’s Funeral Home in South Paris and later started her own cleaning business; “Neat and Tidy.” After retiring she devoted herself to her family, shopping, collecting and decorating with what she called “Her Junk.” Rosemarie was an animal lover who adopted and cared for many dogs and cats over the years, including Little Guy who will miss her terribly. Rosemarie is survived by her mother Rita Cady of Millis, Ma. Children: Wanda Kochansky and husband Kevin, son Dan Abel and wife Petra, Pamela Branche and husband David, Patrick Abel and partner Doreen. Grandchildren: Eric Dutra and wife Jennifer, Shawn Dutra, Scott Heinzman and fiancée Moe, Cheryl Fadden and boyfriend Steve, Nick Abel and fiancée Jen and Rebeka and Rachael Abel. Great-grandchildren: Alyssa Rosemarie, Lillyana Rea and Brooke Stephanie. Her surviving siblings are Robert Cady and wife Heidi, Carolann and husband Dan, Jeanmarie Smith and husband Mark, John Cady and wife Lynda, as well as many nieces, nephews aunts, and uncles. Rosemarie was predeceased by her daughter Stephanie Lynn Abel, her father Robert Cady, brother Peter Byrda, his wife Roseanna, and her grandmother Rose Cady. All of whom are with her now. Forever loved and cherished by all of us. Theresa (Smisek) Ross, a 64 year resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Florida. She was 92 years old. Theresa was born on the Phillipine Islands on October 15, 1920, a dasughter of the late Lada Smisek and Encarnacion (Alfafara) Smisek. She grew up in the Phillipines where she was educated. She immigrated to the United States in 1949 and settled in Charlestown where she raised her family. Theresa enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Foxwoods. Theresa is the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Ross. She is the devoted mother of Corazon “Carol” Ross of Charlestown, Catherine “Kitty” Ross of Charlestown, Lada Ross and his wife Elaine of Revere, Elizabeth O’Brien and her husband Thomas of Weymouth, Richard Ross and his wife Debra of Andover, Therese Grossman and her husband Jeff of Boynton Beach, Florida, Christine Kennedy of Charlestown, Michelle Ross of Malden and the late Anthony Ross. She is the loving Nana of 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is the beloved sister of Joseph Smisek of the Phillipines and the late Louise Monreal. Yvette G. (Castonguay) Shore, 92, of Walpole, died, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Norwood Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Francis H. Shore who died in 1996.

Born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on June 28, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Fernando and Lumina (Turgeon) Castonguay.

Mrs. Shore was a resident of Walpole since 1942.

Before her retirement, she worked at Kendall Mills in Walpole for many years and had formerly worked as a cafeteria worker in the Walpole Public Schools.

Mrs. Shore was devoted to her family and cherished time spent with them.

She is survived by two sons, Francis Shore of Walpole and Stephen Shore of St. Johnsbury, VT, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and her sister Lucille Castonguay of Walpole.

She was the sister of the late Sylvia Carr.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, July 1 from 4 – 6p.m. in the Ginley Funeral, 892 Main St. in Walpole (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m.

John Gregory Giarrusso, 92, formerly of Wellesley, died, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Norwood Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Yvette (Latraverse) Giarrusso who he married on September 12, 1948.

Born in Revere on December 25, 1920, he was a son of the late Michele and Josephine (Coszardi) Giarrusso.

Mr. Giarrusso was a graduate of Revere High School.

Before his retirement, he worked as a self-employed carpenter and contractor for many years.

Mr. Giarrusso was a past-president of the Wellesley Rotary Club.

He enjoyed playing the piano and drums and was an avid Red Sox fan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Gregory Giarrusso and his wife Renee of Lincoln, RI and Jeffrey Giarrusso of South Walpole.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandson and a sister Evelyn Ambrose of Tampa, FL.

He was the brother of the late Salvatore and Virginia Giarrusso and Josephine Palermo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Friday, July 12 at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy’s Church, 650 Nichols Street in Norwood. Burial will be private.

Elizabeth A. (Palmerini) Leggeri, 86, of Walpole died July 12 in the Norwood Hospital. She was the wife of the late David E. Leggeri, Sr. who died in 2003.
Born in Norwood, September 11, 1926, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Falcone) Palmerini, Mrs. Leggeri was raised in Norwood and had lived in Walpole for the past 59 years.
Mrs. Leggeri enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, David Leggeri, Jr. of Billerica, Wayne S. Leggeri of Walpole, James Leggeri and his wife Joanne of Franklin and Denise Cucalon and her husband Richard of Franklin.
She was the former mother-in-law of Stephanie Leggeri of Chelmsford.
She is also survived by her siblings, Josephine Palmerini, Rose Ross, Orrigo Palmerini, Jenny Ippolitti and James Palmerini and his wife Mary of Norwood and Mary Jones of Walpole.
She was the grandmother of Dominic, Nicole, Anthony, Emily, Allison and the Jeffrey.
Her funeral will e held on Wednesday July 17 from the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street Walpole at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Norwood,

Clara G. Doderer, 98, of Walpole, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Charlwell House in Norwood.

Born in Walpole on April 13, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Bertha (Schair) Doderer.

Miss Doderer was a lifelong resident of Walpole and worked at the Pioneer Farms and Greenhouse in Walpole for over 60 years until her retirement.

Miss Doderer enjoyed doing all kinds of arts and crafts. She adored her cats and was an avid gardener.

She was predeceased by five siblings and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, July 18 at 1 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street in Walpole (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).

Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery in Walpole.

Lucille E. Castonguay, 96 of Walpole, died July 15 in the Clark House in Westwood.
Born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont April 15, 1917, the daughter of the late Fernando and Lumina (Turgeon) Castonguay, Miss Castonguay was raised in St. Johnsbury and had lived in Walpole since 1942.
Miss Castonguay had worked in the records department of the Massachusetts Prison System for over 20 years before retiring.
She had previously worked for Charles Peters C.P. A. and Spear Hardware in Walpole.
Lucille was an avid reader.
Sister of the late Yvette Shore and Sylvia Carr., she is survived by her nephews
Francis Shore of Walpole and Stephen Shore of St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
She is also survived by 10 great-nieces and nephews and 15 great-great grandnieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday July 20 in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main Street, Walpole at 1:00p.m.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00-1:00.

Theresa Patricia Collard 93, died peacefully on August 8, 2013 in Salem N.H.

She was born on May 27, 1920 in East Walpole, Massachusetts to the late Guiseppi & Carmela LaCivita. Theresa was a loving and devoted mother and wife to her late husband Robert N. Collard of 67 years.

She is survived by her sister Rose Santoro and brother Charles and her passed siblings; Anthony, Mary Valerio, Pauline Yadesernia, Frank, Anna Ayer, Louis, John, Walter, James, Eleanor Aho. Theresa is survived by her children Paul Collard and wife Phyliss, daughter Mary Ann Prescott and husband Wayne, and son Robert N. Collard Jr. She also leaves behind six grandchildren Shawn Collard and wife Susan, Tim Collard, Brianne, Marissa, Coralee and Cameron Prescott and two great granddaughters Sydney and Amelia Collard along with many nieces and nephews.

Theresa was an avid golfer, tennis player and loved the outdoors. She will be deeply missed.

There will be a private celebration of her life with her immediate family. Arrangements are in the care of the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.

Daniel D. Cerce age 94 of Middleboro died Wednesday September 4, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family after a period of failing health. He was the devoted husband of the late Angelina (Mattoli) Cerce for 60 years. Dan was born and raised in Brockton, a son of the late Bartholomew and Lucia (Morrela) Cerce and had resided in Middleboro for over 20 years.

A graduate of Brockton High School, Dan retired as a custodian with the Brockton Public School Department after many years of service to the system. He loved to sing, dance, cook and eat. He was a people person who loved parties and the holidays. Most importantly he loved the time spent with his family. Dan was an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Middleboro where he was a daily communicant and volunteered around the church.

Dan is survived by his children David Cerce husband of the late Jo Anne of Middleboro; Marie Cantelli and her husband Ronald of Tiverton, RI; Lucinda Schiff and her husband Ken of Freetown, MA; Joan Cerce and her partner Barbara Cobb of Brockton and Daria Cerce-Hunnewell of Walpole. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was the brother of William Cerce of Florida and the late Pasquale “Pat”, Anthony and Jack Cerce, Bessie Alfieri and Ethel Metta. Dan was also the longtime companion of the late Ulla Murphy.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Friday 4-8 pm. Those wishing to join the funeral procession from Conley Funeral Home should arrive at 8 am on Saturday. Otherwise join the family at Sacred Heart Church 340 Centre St, Middleboro at 9:30 am for the Funeral Mass. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Barbara A. Kelly, 70, of Walpole died September 21, in the Harrington House Walpole.
Born in Norwood, January 23, 1943, the daughter of the late Paul W. and Louise A. (Brule) Kelly, Miss Kelly was a lifelong Walpole resident.
She was a graduate of Walpole High School and Regis College.
Miss Kelly had been a computer programmer for the Foxboro Company for many years.
Barbara enjoyed crosstitching, feeding the chipmunks outside her home and was a devoted follower of the soap opera the Young and the Restless.
She was the sister of the late Patricia L. Kelly.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday September 25 from the Ginley Funeral Home, 82 Main Street Walpole at 10:15 followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 11:00.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole.

Beverly was the beloved mother of Lara Scott & her husband Greg of Pembroke; loving grandmother of Broderick Scott and Jonathan Scott; dear sister of John Lindgren of Monticello, New York and the late Paula Dickow. She is also survived by her former husband, Robert Mazzola of Hingham.

Nancy Mary (DeGiacomo) Lamphier, 77 of North Point, Florida formerly of Walpole died September 29.
She was the wife of the late Richard Lamphier.
Born in Boston, August 2, 1936, the daughter of the late Anthony and Nancy (Murphy) DeGiacomo, Mrs. Lamphier was raised in Walpole ,she moved to North Port in 2003.
She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing. She had worked as a Nursing Supervisor at Wrentham State School for many years.
Fondly called “Jackie” by her friends, she is remembered as a kind and generous woman, dedicated to her family and her nursing career.
She is survived by her bother Dr. William A. DeGiacomo and his wife Martha of Norton, her niece Lisa M. Cook of Bellingham, 2 grandnieces and 3 grandnephews.
She is also survived by her step son Marc Lamphier of Lawrence, and a step nephew Orion Parrott of Sacramento, California.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 16 in St. Timothy’s Church, Norwood at 10:00.
Burial will be private.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street Walpole.

Gail Marie Glynn, 56 of Walpole died October 20, at home after a long illness.
Born in Boston, June 1, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Dennis P. , Jr. and Barbara F. (Sullivan) Glynn.
A Registered nurse, Miss Glynn attended the New England Deaconess School of Nursing and was a graduate of Framingham Union School of Nursing.
A life-long caregiver, she had been a medical/surgical nurse at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham and a nurse with Caritas Home Care.
She is survived by her siblings, Dennis P. Glynn III and his wife Robin of Chester, New Hampshire, Karen Webb and her husband Cal of Hopkinton, and Paula Glynn of Walpole.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Kelly Glynn and Dennis Glynn IV of Chester, New Hampshire, and Erin Webb and Patrick Webb of Hopkinton.
She also is survived by her best friend Vivian Chase-William and her husband Gene Williams of Walpole and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Her memorial service will be held on Friday October 25 in the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street Walpole at 6:30.
Visitation will be from 4:00-6:30 on Friday.
Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton will be private.
