Evelyn (Dumas) Sisco, 95 of Melbourne Florida, formerly of Walpole died April 23in Melbourne.
Born in Shoreham, Vermont, November 23, 1916, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Boucha) Dumas, Mrs. Sisco had lived in Walpole for most of her life prior to moving to Florida 22 years ago.
Evelyn along with her brothers had owned and operated the Dumas Taxi Company in Walpole for many years.
She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid Red Sox fan.
She is survived by her daughter Frances Thomas of Melbourne, Florida.
She was the sister of the late Walter, James, and William Dumas and Beatrice Swenor.
She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Friday April 27 from the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St. Walpole at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 6-8.
